Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning Development Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating operational training and assessment resources, including session plans, learner guides, assessments, and digital content, aligned with compliance standards.

Reporting to the Competency Manager, you will work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effective implementation of learning materials. You will lead development activities, manage timelines, monitor progress, and ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create operational training and assessment resources, including session plans, learner guides, assessments, and digital content, aligned with compliance standards.
  • Support the creation of technical competency frameworks, including industry-specific standards where AQF units are not suitable.
  • Develop workplace-based assessments that reflect operational tasks and align with relevant competency standards.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effective implementation of learning materials.
  • Lead development activities, manage timelines, monitor progress, and ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in adult learning design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher qualification in adult education required.
  • Sound knowledge of RTO standards, AQF, TAC, and VET compliance and quality frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Sound project management skills with the ability to manage competing tasks and lead and progress tasks to achieve goals and objectives.
