Job Title: Laboratory Support Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Associate to join our team. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the receipt and dispatch of specimens and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Performing data entry as required.
  • Filing and retrieval of specimens, where applicable.
  • Maintaining work station/area adequately, such as general housekeeping.
  • Working flexible hours and being available for ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with specimen processing and data entry.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to cope and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Understanding the importance of adhering to procedures accurately.
  • A willingness to follow departmental and organisational policies and procedures.
