Medical Laboratory Specialist

Overview:
Our organization is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to perform diagnostic laboratory testing in various areas, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to operate and maintain complex laboratory instruments and equipment, and stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory practices through ongoing education and training.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic testing in multiple disciplines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, maintaining optimal performance and adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate test results effectively with healthcare providers, supporting patient care and treatment decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field; ASCP certification (or eligibility) as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Associate's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Technician program; ASCP certification (or eligibility) as an MLT.
- Montana licensure (or eligibility) as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Technician.
