Job Overview

As a Field Applications Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering technical support and application guidance to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

You will work closely with the Technical Support Manager to design training programs and conduct system seminars, installations, and training sessions.

  • Providing in-field application, training support, and troubleshooting to internal and external customers
  • Developing training programs for organisational members and customers
  • Conducting system seminars, installations, training, and connectivity solutions
  • Providing high-level technical support to customers
  • Supporting new product launches
  • Supporting sales personnel pre and post-sale

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years of technical experience in a life science laboratory with strong technical understanding of laboratory procedures and changing trends
  • Minimum qualification PhD in Life Sciences and/or an associated discipline
  • Superior technical and application knowledge of life science methodologies and data management software
  • Proactive and passionate about maintaining a high standard of support
  • Superior presentation and training skills
  • Molecular Biology background, including qPCR, Western Blotting, and imaging
  • Experience with Bio-Rad instruments/software is highly advantageous
