Job Role:

A Medical Laboratory Assistant is required to perform laboratory support tasks and provide assistance to laboratory staff under supervision in a Sydney environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of laboratory support tasks, including data entry and maintenance of high-quality work output.
  • Assist laboratory staff with daily operations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, customers, and clinical staff.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills to investigate and resolve general issues within the laboratory environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of laboratory environments and ability to learn relevant aspects quickly.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and skills, preferably in a laboratory environment.
  • Excellent data entry skills, including high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Awareness of legislation, policies, and requirements relevant to a laboratory setting.
