Lead a Fun and Safe Children's Program

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Childcare Professional to lead our children's program in Newborough. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to form positive relationships with children and families, and have a passion for delivering high-quality care.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of our children's program, creating daily plans and organizing activities that promote fun, learning, and development. They will also supervise and support a group of primary-aged children, preparing and serving healthy food options, and building meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school community.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or equivalent in childcare-related studies, hold a valid Working with Children Check, and possess valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates. They will also have excellent time management skills, being able to work independently and as part of a team, and availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a fun, safe, and compliant children's program
  • Supervise and support a group of primary-aged children
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school community
  • Nurture a positive environment for learning, fun, and play

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in childcare-related studies
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm Monday to Friday
