**Group Leader**

Pandas Childcare Is hiring an experienced Group Leader with exceptional skills and values.

**About the Position**:
You will be responsible for plan and document for your room whilst providing a safe, familiar, and stimulating environment for the children. As varied role, you will be delegating tasks within your team and collaborating and establishing positive relationships with families and co-workers.

**Selection Criteria**:
To be successful in this role, you need:

- Diploma in Early Childhood education and care qualified
- Minimum 3 years of experience within an early childhood setting
- Be available to work 5 days per week. We are open 6:30 am to 6pm and shifts are alternated between open, middle and close.
- Must have Australian work rights
- Reliable transport to the service
- Montessori Experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills
- Current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Current Working with Children Check
- Experience with Autistic children
- Experience with children with hearing impairment

**Main Tasks of the Position**:

- Program and planning, based on Montessori style
- Lead and delegate tasks to other staff member
- General supervision, guidance and support of all people working within the room
- Accurate record of children documentation
- Maintenance of records of children progress

**A demonstrated understanding of**:

- National Quality Framework (NQF),
- Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),
- Child Protection & Safe Standards Training,
- Workplace Health & Safety issues,
- Ability to work and contribute to a team environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $39.00 per hour
