As a cross-dock operations manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of supervisors and operators at a key logistics facility.

This role is based in Orchard Hills and requires a strong focus on safety, compliance with industry regulations, and effective communication between teams.

The successful candidate will have expertise in transport regulations and compliance standards in Australia, as well as experience in budgeting, cost management, and analysing data to drive business improvement.

You will also need excellent analytical, communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive results and build strong relationships within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of cross-dock supervisors and operators to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Maintain high levels of compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration between teams to achieve seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance standards in Australia.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
