Natural Language Experience Designer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled conversational designer to create structured, human-centred interactions that help people accomplish tasks across various interfaces.

  • The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and develop agentic, generative, and procedural flows.
  • You will be responsible for crafting human-centric language for AI-driven interactions, creating tone variation, providing contextual cues, and progressive disclosure as relationships evolve.
  • This role requires designing for voice, text, auditory, and visual design motifs, gesture inputs, and cross-modal interactions.
  • You will map dialogue or narrative trees, shape intent recognition, disambiguation, turn-taking, error handling, and escalation scenarios.
  • You will also detail design for interaction modes including zero-UI, plan for modes of interaction, define the agent's voice, behavior, and boundaries.
  • The ideal candidate will partner with tech teams to shape what the agent knows, remembers, and can do within or across contexts.
  • You will work with experience architects to define or extend agent abilities, craft content with contextual and personalized awareness, use authentication, agent memory, and context to personalize responses.
  • You will ensure AI experiences are safe, transparent, and respectful, design with neurodiverse users in mind, and collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
