Community Liaison Officer Role Overview

This position is responsible for strengthening relationships between law enforcement and diverse communities across the country. The Community Liaison Team plays a vital role in engaging with community members, building trust, and addressing social cohesion challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote effective communication and collaboration between law enforcement and community stakeholders.
  • Coordinate initiatives with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Represent the organization in various community and governmental forums to foster positive relationships and address concerns.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual with a strong commitment to delivering results.
  • Experience in community engagement, communications, stakeholder, and relationship management.
  • Relevant qualifications or extensive knowledge in community engagement and communications.
