Key Role:We are seeking a motivated and experienced registered Psychologist to provide counselling and psychological support to our students, promoting their emotional wellbeing and academic success.
This role involves working independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to students, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group counselling sessions to students;
- Develop and implement trauma-informed interventions and other evidence-based therapies;
- Work with students, parents, and staff to promote positive education and wellbeing;
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop strategies to support student learning and wellbeing;
- Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and wellbeing.
- Registration with AHPRA;
- Experience as a psychologist in a school or community setting;
- Experience with CBT and a strong interest in positive psychology and related therapies;
- Familiarity with trauma-informed interventions;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice;
- Eligibility for APS registration.
