As a key member of our team at pitt&sherry, the Senior Asset Condition Assessment Lead will oversee the condition assessments of bridges, culverts, and other transport infrastructure assets for a diverse range of clients. This role offers a mix of responsibilities, from project and contractor management to hands-on site inspections, including both destructive and non-destructive testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small, dedicated team of asset inspectors in the Sydney office.
  • Provide comprehensive asset condition inspections across multiple sites.
  • Project management of typically small to medium-sized projects, ensuring seamless coordination with contractors and the on-time, on-budget delivery of results.
  • Engage in hands-on site work, project management, and reporting as required, providing end-to-end oversight.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience undertaking site inspections or managing inspection works, preferably in bridges or transport infrastructure.
  • Qualified as a civil/structural engineer, engineering technician, or with a trade background.
  • Proven leadership of a small team is desirable.
  • Strong project management skills are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and contractors.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
