Job Summary

The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining high-value relationships with existing clients that are of significant strategic importance to the organisation.

The role involves:

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers
  • Being an industry expert and understanding client strategy, business challenges and priorities
  • Making revenue pipeline and sales performance management a priority
  • Achieving agreed revenue targets inclusive of client retention, and upsell/cross sell of additional products and solutions
  • Achieving agreed activity targets that focus on regular proactive client engagement
  • Leading commercial negotiations and ongoing revenue forecasting for clients
  • Ensuring both client and Iress deliver on their contractual commitments
  • Working with clients to implement and ensure adoption of Iress trading and market data products
  • Supporting the delivery of new and enhanced product features and propositions to the market
Key Responsibilities
  • Building a network within the industry including clients and prospects and contributing to opportunities to promote Iress
  • Applying the Iress commercial ways of working in all activities including engaging with clients via the chosen methodology, process and tool-set etc
  • Drafting, maintaining and implementing the client account plans
  • Collating, managing, scheduling and presenting to clients e.g. quarterly steerco's
