A Financial Accountant plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring financial stability. We are seeking a results-driven professional to join our Finance Team as a Financial Accountant.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to build on your existing skills and further your career in accounting. You will be part of a high-performing team of six, working closely with the Finance Director to deliver exceptional financial outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Month-end close and financial reporting
  • Forecasting and budgeting
  • Statutory compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Cash flow management and analysis

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also contribute to financial modelling, planning, and decision-making processes. This role offers a unique blend of office days and remote work flexibility, allowing you to balance productivity and work-life harmony.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • CA/CPA qualification
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 2-3 years as a Financial Accountant
  • Solid experience in Australian-owned businesses with a turnover exceeding $25M
  • Strong tax and statutory reporting knowledge (Australia and New Zealand)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

A sharp eye for detail and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers will be essential in this role.
