Job Title: Assessment Clinician

We are recruiting Clinical Assessment team members to assist in delivering comprehensive assessments for My Aged Care clients.

About the Role

Clinical Assessors will incorporate the Aged Care Assessment Quality framework to deliver high-quality assessments, with a focus on client experience.

  • Complete Comprehensive Assessments using the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) in line with program guidelines and quality requirements.
  • Take a Wellness and Reablement approach to Aged Care Assessments.
  • Facilitate clients' progress towards achieving increased stability and improved quality of life by assisting aged clients to access relevant commonwealth aged care services and state-based health and community support services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Clinical qualification in a relevant field such as nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy.
  • Registration or accreditation with a relevant professional body or board, where applicable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in working with people who are aging and their families/carers.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate clients, families, staff, and other stakeholders with a positive approach.
