The Role: PT6A Engine Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced technicians to join our Turboprops team at Bundamba (Ipswich QLD) to work on PT6A engines. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing heavy engine maintenance on gas turbine engines in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements
- Utilizing ERP systems and maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD)
- Ensuring own safety and the safety of others through adherence to strict protocols and procedures
- Collaborating as part of a team to achieve shared goals and deliver excellent customer service
Requirements and Qualifications
- A passion for delivering exceptional results and meeting customer expectations
- Desirable: PT6A experience in an MRO facility, with expertise in engine overhaul, strip, inspection, and assembly
- Demonstrated knowledge of airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with manual and automated tools and equipment
- High level of accuracy and ability to interpret technical manuals
- Basic machining and general engineering knowledge an advantage
Estimated Salary Range: AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
