About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team at Viatris. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to the maintenance team with duties on the plant and equipment to optimize operational efficiency of the site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine checks, including cleaning in all areas of the site, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Carry out deep cleans of the Machine Shop and Workshop on a regular basis to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Provide support to the Maintenance Store, including forklift operations, to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
  • Support preventative maintenance tasks in all areas of the site as directed by the SAP PM Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance records are completed for all activities, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to the highest relevant standards, promoting a culture of quality and excellence.
About You
  • You possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to identify and address issues before they escalate into larger problems.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with other maintenance staff, engineers, and production teams to achieve shared goals.
  • You are highly organized and able to prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks with minimal disruption to production.
  • You are committed to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the work environment is hazard-free, promoting a positive and productive work culture.
  • You have proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals, enabling you to effectively complete maintenance tasks.
