Blasting Crew Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities include operating advanced vehicles, providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to client blast crews, assisting with preventative maintenance, delivering explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes, and demonstrating key company values such as 'Safety is our Priority, Always.'
Requirements:- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence or ability to gain prior to commencement;
- 2+ Years of experience in blast crew operations, Open Cut or Underground;
- A genuine interest in technical aspects of blasting;
- Ability to pass required security checks for Dangerous Goods licence;
- An excellent, positive and team based attitude;
- Basic mechanical comprehension advantageous but not essential.
The Relief Team Operator role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, operating highly advanced vehicles and machinery. This position involves providing operational blasting knowledge and advice to client blast crews and stakeholders.
The role also requires the ability to deliver explosive products down pre-drilled blast holes on bench/underground charging. Additionally, the candidate must be able to work in tight unison with teammates to provide excellence in service to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's licence, 2+ years of experience in blast crew operations, and a genuine interest in technical aspects of blasting.

Basic mechanical comprehension is advantageous but not essential for this role.
