Senior Software Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative consumer products.

About The Position
  • Full Stack Ownership: Design, build, and optimize the core platform, encompassing front-end interfaces and back-end services.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Develop seamless, intuitive consumer experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  • Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Quickly prototype, test, learn, and refine features that drive product innovation and growth.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, design, and marketing teams to translate creative ideas into functional, delightful experiences.
  • Performance & Scalability Optimization: Ensure the tech stack is efficient, scalable, and ready to grow with the business.
  • Continuous Learning & Experimentation: Stay up-to-date with new technologies, leverage AI/ML where relevant, and continually improve development practices.
  • Influencing Engineering Culture: As one of the founding engineers, shape the tone for how we ship, collaborate, and approach code quality and process.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of full-stack experience, preferably in consumer-focused startups or product-driven teams.
  • Comfort working across the entire technology stack, from front-end UI to backend architecture and databases.
  • Experience with mobile development (iOS, Android, or React Native) is a plus.
  • The ability to work fast and efficiently while maintaining high technical standards.
  • A deep understanding of what drives great consumer products, with a focus on user experience, clean interfaces, and delightful interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a bias toward action, comfortable making decisions and driving progress in uncertain environments.
  • The willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and step outside your comfort zone to help create something truly original.
  • A founder's mindset, prioritizing the product, its users, and the team building it.

  • Experience with e-commerce, payments, or interactive consumer experiences.
  • A history of building side projects, startups, or products simply for the joy of creation.
  • A view of engineering as a creative discipline, appreciating great UX, design, and the emotional impact of products on people.
