
Automotive Consumables Business Developer

This role involves selling consumables products to existing and new customers in a designated region.
Key Responsibilities- Sell consumables products to new, current, and non-active accounts in your identified region.
- Develop positive relationships with new and existing customers.
- Support customers by providing product summaries and stock checking processes.
- Implement a territory and frequency plan to maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain customer portfolio efficiently.
- Ensure the consumables van is clean, stocked, fully maintained, and presentable at all times.
- Assist managers in other areas of responsibilities as needed.
- Identify potential growth within existing customers.
- Develop newly identified customers through lead generation programs.
- Use the customer portfolio efficiently to grow market share.
- Analyse data to determine consumer trends and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Support and assist with analysing data to determine consumer trends.
- Manage the product mix and inventory stocked within the consumables van.
- Manage orders, transactions, and inventory movements from warehouse to the consumables van.
- Proactively support the testing and validation of new products.
- Responsible for own safety and the safety of others.
- Follow all safety policies and requirements.
- Always promote safety and safety policies.
- Maintain an understanding of WHS policies and procedures.
- Able to analyse and develop accurate conclusions to support category decisions.
- Understanding of market and consumer insights and trends.
- Experience in building business relationships and customer service.
