Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator to join our team in the Eastern Suburbs. The ideal candidate will have strong import or export freight forwarder experience, with at least one year's experience using Cargowise. They will possess excellent communication skills, be organized, and able to prioritize workload effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling import FCL/LCL, liaising with carriers, service providers, and overseas partners. They will also ensure ongoing customer satisfaction through effective responses to customer enquiries, issues, and concerns. Other key responsibilities include PO management, follow-up, execution, and job completion to enable timely invoicing. Additionally, they will facilitate communication between customers and internal departments (customs, claims, landside) and track and trace international cargo, providing regular status reports.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Strong import or export freight forwarder experience in both sea and air (at least one year's experience with Cargowise)
  • Personable, energetic, and communicative, with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to perform end-to-end import operations services
  • High level of accuracy and ability to prioritize workload under pressure
  • Relationship building skills with all stakeholders, with the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
