Senior Student Needs Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Student Needs Coordinator to join our team at The University of Western Australia.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to manage students with multiple and complex needs. As the Senior Student Needs Coordinator, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate support services, contribute to the University's strategic objectives, and provide leadership on managing serious student incidents and complex cases.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate internal and external support services for students with complex needs;
- Provide leadership and guidance on managing serious student incidents and complex cases;
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives;
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with external organizations;
- Conduct clinical supervision and provide support to colleagues;
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency;
- Registration with a relevant professional organization (e.g., AASW);
- Extensive experience in case management for students with complex needs;
- Experience in managing serious incidents and crisis intervention;
- High-level analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
- Ability to provide clinical supervision and establish effective partnerships;
- Proficiency in computing skills and effective communication abilities.
Please note that occasional after-hours work may be required for incident response. Additionally, a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance Certificate are mandatory.
What We OfferThe successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
