Cloud Infrastructure Deployment and Management

SAP is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to oversee the deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure and hosted products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical research and problem-solving skillset, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment, upgrade, and lifecycle management of cloud infrastructure and hosted SAP products
  • Creation of scripts and assistance with automated deployment processes
  • Designing and deploying key SaaS Applications and Management elements
  • Setup and configuration of tools to monitor applications, security, and auditing
  • Extensive troubleshooting and technical expertise in identifying issues impacting service delivery
  • Scheduling, planning, and implementation of new systems
  • Operational support as application SME for 24/7 systems, including on-call rotation duties

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting technical infrastructure on Cloud at a corporate level or business application operations background
  • Experience with delivering products on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD tools, and GIT
  • Working knowledge of implementing and managing Kubernetes environments is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Directory services
  • Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can-do attitude and strong sense of ownership end-to-end
  • Support for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives
  • Willingness to support on-call rotation schedule for planned maintenance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS Route 53, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, ACM, KMS, VPC
  • Thorough understanding of infrastructure firewalls, load balancers, storage, monitoring, security, IAM etc. and have experience with orchestration to operate a cloud solution
