As a key member of the New Business team, you will be responsible for managing investor relationships, capital raising for new and existing products, and working collaboratively with the Investor Relations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with investor groups, including High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Investment Advisers, Charities, and Endowments.



• Developing a deep understanding of their strategic goals and investment objectives to identify sales opportunities.



• Capital raising for new product initiatives, including producing marketing collateral, investor pitches, commercial term negotiations, and lead conversion.



• Collaborating with the broader New Business team to achieve business objectives.



About You



To succeed in this role, you will require:




  • A minimum tertiary degree qualification in commerce, business, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years' experience in funds management, strategy, banking, corporate development, or distribution.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the real-estate and/or infrastructure funds management sector and ability to discuss key economic and market trends in the context of Dexus products and opportunities.
  • Existing industry and investor contacts within the real estate and infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in Private Capital investment, including a client-focused approach to investment solutions and recommendations.
  • A proven track record of delivering projects from conception to completion, achieving project goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Comprehensive negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and customer retention skills.


The Package



Dexus offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, plus benefits including flexible working arrangements, wellbeing allowance, extra annual leave days, professional development opportunities, and membership to our vibrant LGBTQ+ network, TRIBE.
