About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion across various sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing high-value clients, leading early-stage client engagement, and shaping tailored security solutions in line with their specific needs.

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a hybrid working arrangement, with opportunities to work from home, the office, or in the field. You will have access to business tools, including a laptop, phone, and CRM software, as well as national travel allowances for interstate client engagement.

As a Business Development Manager, your primary objective will be to drive growth by identifying and securing new-to-business clients, leading early-stage client engagement, and shaping tailored security solutions in line with their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage high-value, strategic clients aligned to our national growth strategy
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through market scanning and research
  • Drive and manage extended sales cycles, ensuring consistent engagement and momentum through multiple stakeholder touchpoints
  • Lead early-stage client engagement and internal alignment
  • Initiate contact with senior decision-makers and drive stakeholder mapping
  • Coordinate client briefings, site visits, and develop tailored value propositions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align service delivery with client needs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing long and complex sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to convert strategic opportunities into sustainable partnerships
  • Consultative sales style focused on problem-solving and tailored solutions
  • Strategic, commercially minded, and collaborative
  • Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly and delivers exceptional outcomes
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and influencing skills at senior levels
  • Committed to ethical sales, confidentiality, and long-term relationship growth
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organisational levels
