Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Growth and Revenue Strategist to lead our retail, tourism, airport, and alliance marketing partnership strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable revenue and achieving marketing objectives through strong audience management, consumer segmentation, and personalisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving digital media effectiveness and developing strategic plans in relation to retail and partners. They will also be involved in ad hoc marketing team project work, collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive value proposition and communication strategies for price position and fare choices.

This role requires a strong understanding of the domestic market and the ability to position us as the airline partner of choice. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team with three direct reports, delivering brand and revenue outcomes, exceeding customer expectations, and contributing to sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of retail strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Drive the value proposition and communication strategy of price position and fare choices
  • Position us as the airline partner of choice in the domestic market
  • Own and drive paid retail, tourism, and alliances campaigns in collaboration with internal teams
  • Utilise tourism and alliance partnerships to drive market share in key markets
  • Lead positive industry partner relationships to drive growth and contribution to the visitor economy
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong people leadership skills and ability to engage across all levels of the business
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Commerce, or related field
  • Extensive retail and e-commerce experience
  • Deep knowledge on strategic development and execution of brand, retail, and campaign marketing strategy
