As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key responsibilities include providing quality direct support to participants in line with their support needs, developing positive relationships, and promoting independence.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Current unrestricted Drivers License and comprehensive car insurance, plus own reliable transport
  • Ability to develop a positive relationship with participants and support their Individual Support Plan
  • Valid NDIS Orientation and COVID-19 Infection Control Certificates of Completion
  • Ability to maintain participant's confidentiality and privacy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work active overnight, sleepover, morning shifts and broken shifts
  • Criminal History Checks such as a Disability Worker Screening and Working with Children Checks
