**Join Our Team as a Supported Independent Living (SIL) Support Worker with Heart Led Support.**

**Location: North Brisbane Employment Type**: Casual / Part-Time **Pay**: SCHADS Award (with penalty rates, sleepover allowances & overtime where applicable) About the Role.

We are seeking passionate, reliable and motivated **SIL Support Workers** to join our fast-growing team. You will be working directly with participants in a **Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment**, helping them thrive in their daily lives while providing a safe, supportive and empowering space.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is ready to make a real difference and contribute to a team that values **integrity, collaboration, and person-centred care.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide **personal care** including assistance with hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility.
- Support participants with **daily living skills** and community engagement.
- Deliver support during **sleepovers** and overnight shifts.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the broader team.
- Use strong **de-escalation techniques** to support participants through behavioural or emotional challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes in line with compliance standards.
- Contribute to a **fast-paced team environment** with flexibility and a solutions-focused approach.

**What We're Looking For**
- **Excellent communication skills** - both verbal and written.
- **High Needs experience** - previous SIL or complex support experience highly regarded.
- Ability to remain calm and **de-escalate situations** with empathy and professionalism.
- **Knowledge of the SIL sector** and NDIS framework is a plus.
- **Certificates in Disability, Community Services, or Individual Support** (or working towards) are highly desirable.
- Current **First Aid & CPR** certification.
- Valid **Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check**.
- **Driver's Licence** and reliable vehicle.
