We are seeking passionate, reliable and motivated
SIL Support Workers
to join our fast-growing team. You will be working directly with participants in a
Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment
, helping them thrive in their daily lives while providing a safe, supportive and empowering space.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is ready to make a real difference and contribute to a team that values
integrity, collaboration, and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
personal care
including assistance with hygiene, grooming, meals, and mobility.
Support participants with
daily living skills
and community engagement.
Deliver support during
sleepovers
and overnight shifts.
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the broader team.
Use strong
de-escalation techniques
to support participants through behavioural or emotional challenges.
Maintain accurate documentation and shift notes in line with compliance standards.
Contribute to a
fast-paced team environment
with flexibility and a solutions-focused approach.
What We're Looking For
Excellent communication skills
– both verbal and written.
High Needs experience
– previous SIL or complex support experience highly regarded.
Ability to remain calm and
de-escalate situations
with empathy and professionalism.
Knowledge of the SIL sector
and NDIS framework is a plus.
Certificates in Disability, Community Services, or Individual Support
(or working towards) are highly desirable.
Current
First Aid & CPR
certification.
Valid
Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check
.
Driver's Licence
and reliable vehicle.
