Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned HVAC Technical Lead to spearhead our technical operations across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global leader in heating, cooling, and hydronic systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support, coordinating warranty and in-house repairs, managing spare parts, and delivering high-standard quality control.

A key aspect of this role is leading a network of contract technicians and service agents, liaising with our international headquarters, and contributing to product development with local market insights.

To succeed in this position, you will need to combine your HVAC technical expertise with leadership experience in Service Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert assistance to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Spare Parts Management: Coordinate the procurement and inventory of spare parts, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of contract technicians and service agents, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Requirements:

  • HVAC Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of heating, cooling, and hydronic systems.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a restricted electrical license compliant with AU/NZ regulations, or equivalent.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, partners, and team members.
