Job Description: Dining Services Manager / Food Service Supervisor

This role reports directly to the Restaurant & Bar Assistant Manager and involves leading, mentoring, and motivating the team to deliver professional, efficient, and friendly service. You will assist the Restaurant & Bar Manager with day-to-day operations across multiple outlets.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Foster an exceptional guest experience by ensuring timely service delivery, addressing any issues promptly, and meeting customer expectations.
  • Develop relationships with regular guests to understand their preferences and tailor services accordingly.
  • Collaborate with customers, chefs, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service operations and adhere to established protocols.
  • Manage revenue effectively by accurately recording cash/charge summaries and completing daily activities on time.
  • Evaluate guest billing processes to ensure accuracy and adherence to Hotel procedures.
  • Maintain control over restaurant and conference equipment, record breakages, and conduct regular stock takes to optimize inventory management.
  • Familiarize yourself with outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines, as well as Accor's policies and procedures, to provide informed guidance and support.


Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding people-focused service, creating lasting connections with guests and residents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food and beverage trends to provide informed recommendations and drive sales growth.
  • Possess valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) and Food Safety Supervisor Certificates, adhering to industry standards.
  • Show flexibility with a rotating roster, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to the role.
  • Lead by example, taking ownership of your responsibilities and actively seeking opportunities for growth within our company.
