Facilities Operations Manager

The Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe and secure environment of guests, tenants, and residents in various accommodation facilities across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a secure environment for all individuals residing or visiting the facilities
- Foster positive interactions with residents, tenants, and guests to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage finances, order supplies, and maintain stock levels while adhering to organizational standards
- Coordinate and plan accommodation allocation with reception services to ensure efficient operations
- Provide support to other departments, including catering for conferences, and external organizations as needed
- Conduct regular risk assessments to guarantee compliance with hygiene and health and safety standards within the facilities
- Oversee cleaning staff to ensure they meet established standards
Requirements for Success:
- Effectively manage and coordinate all aspects of an organization's operations, including guest services, personnel management, and administration.
- Supervise, manage, and train workers and apprentices to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Assign responsibilities to newly recruited employees and ensure they adhere to policies and procedures by monitoring their performance.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure company activity coordination and implement quality control procedures to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and market marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain, supply, and furnish the building, negotiate with contractors and suppliers, and ensure efficient security measures are in place.
- Facilitate coordination between suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners to provide seamless services.
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve complaints regarding hotel policies and services in a professional manner.
- Comply with all relevant legislative regulations regarding health, workplace safety, and licensing.
