Electro Mechanical Technician Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to build your career as an Electro Mechanical Technician. As a skilled professional, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing complex electromechanical systems.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working with electromechanical drives, sensors, and automated machinery. They will work closely with maintenance teams and engineers to install and evaluate electromechanical systems that support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair CNC manufacturing equipment, PLCs, motor controls, and mechanical assemblies using advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Program PLCs, HMIs, and PC-based systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Work safely and effectively with three-phase power and various control voltages.
  • Utilize shop tools and testing/measuring equipment required to maintain or repair electromechanical control systems.
Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other technical tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
