**Job Title:** Financial Accountant - High Performing Professional

**Location:** Sydney, Australia

Fitzgerald Jenkins Recruitment is seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial accounting skills, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Services.

**Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all month-end journals are posted timely and accurately, as well as managing and delivering the monthly management report with commentary.
  • They will also be responsible for tax compliance (FBT, GST, BAS), AP/AR & Payroll, and leading the review and delivery of monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and Board packs.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Ensure all month-end journals are posted timely and accurately.
  • Manage and deliver the monthly management report with commentary.
  • Lead the review and delivery of monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and Board packs.
  • Tax Compliance (FBT, GST, BAS).
  • AP/AR & Payroll.

**Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of financial accounting experience in Financial Services.
  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • Tax Compliance (eg. BAS, GST, FBT) experience.
  • Month-end close, Financial Statement preparation, Cashflow forecasting, AP/AR, Payroll experience.
