About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team at SG Fleet. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing bank receipts and payments, calculating accruals, and preparing financial statements for year end and interim audits.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for year end and interim audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards;
  • Apply accounting standards to our product offerings and support various projects on new issued standards, providing high-quality financial analysis and recommendations;
  • Monthly accounting of right of use assets and liabilities, including reconciliation and financial statement disclosures, to ensure transparency and accountability;
  • Assist in calculating and processing month end accruals and journals, as well as assisting with Securitisation accounting for Trust entities (SPV) including monthly reconciliations;
  • Maintain accuracy of General ledger and manage balance sheet reconciliation for various accounts, including leases and receivables, to ensure timely and accurate reporting;
  • Assist with daily and month end processing, reconciliations, and reporting, as required, to meet team deadlines and stakeholder expectations;

Requirements
  • Good technical and numerical skills, with thorough and accurate work habits;
  • Proven customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders;
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets;
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet specific deadlines and report regularly on progress;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse information and solve complex problems in a timely and effective manner;
