Senior Academic Leader

The Senior Academic Leader is a key position at our institution, responsible for advancing the organization's mission and vision. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role drives a collaborative culture focused on quality learning, academic excellence, and the growth of both students and staff.

This leader oversees the strategic direction and performance of our academic programs, leading the way in achieving exceptional student outcomes and professional development of teaching staff.

As a member of the School Leadership Team, the Senior Academic Leader holds a college-wide leadership responsibility, fostering a team-based approach to all learning and teaching initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and overseeing strategic academic programs and processes that monitor and support student learning progression and growth
  • Leading the pedagogical priorities, ensuring the adoption of differentiated, high-impact, and innovative teaching practices that align with our philosophy of personalized learning
  • Collaborating closely with subject learning leaders and other teams to promote a consistent and integrated approach to student wellbeing and learning
