Government Account Growth Specialist
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Government Account Growth Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of our Government accounts through strategic planning, relationship building, and execution.
About the Role:
This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional who is passionate about building strong relationships with executive stakeholders and mobilisers. As a Government Account Growth Specialist, you will work closely with our Customer Success Manager to deliver renewals, upsells, and brand-new opportunities.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Owning and growing a portfolio of Government accounts with clear territory/account plans
- Driving new and upsell business while partnering with your CSM on renewals and adoption
- Building strong, value-based relationships with executive stakeholders and mobilisers
- Leading proposals and delivering compelling, customer-focused solutions
- Collaborating with Marketing, BDRs, Partnerships & Alliances to generate and progress pipeline
- Negotiating and managing partnerships (including VARs) alongside your CSM
- Representing our organisation at conferences, webinars, and industry events
- Staying across market trends and developing deep expertise in our technology and customer use cases
You'll Thrive in This Role If:
- You have 5+ years closing enterprise sales, ideally in SaaS, consistently hitting quota
- You have experience managing 50+ accounts, balancing new business and growth
- You're confident engaging government executives and influencing key decisions at the State and Federal level
- You have proven success in upsell, new logo acquisition, and customer expansion
- You're skilled in value-based selling, building ROI-driven business cases
- You're a strong collaborator, able to align internal and partner stakeholders
- You have experience with proposals, quoting, and complex sales cycles
