Technical Support Specialist Job Opportunity

This role is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.

  • Job Description:
  • As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting both the technical and commercial teams. You will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support, acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders and helping to drive the efficiency of daily processes.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the commercial team in client-related activities, including coordinating logistics for onsite visits and preparing materials for presentations and promotional events.
  • Set up new client accounts in internal systems.
  • Prepare pricing requests and generate quotations.
  • Coordinate with the customer service team to ensure pricing and system records are up to date for purchase order processing.
  • Provide support to sales support specialists and account managers during their absence.
  • Sample & Documentation:
  • Initiate and coordinate sample requests for client projects.
  • Generate self-serve documents such as Technical Data Sheets, Safety Data Sheets and Halal/Kosher Finished Goods certificates using internal systems.
  • Request and download Halal/Kosher certificates for raw materials as needed.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Monitor and update internal communications to ensure accurate and current information is accessible to all team members.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for technical and commercial teams.
  • Organize and support technical/commercial meetings, company events, conferences and onboarding materials for new team members.
  • Raise purchase requisitions based on the needs of technical and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate onsite services and maintenance (e.g. Cleaners, gardeners, Air-Conditioning etc).
  • Arrange care packages (e.g. birthday gifts, get-well baskets, condolence wreaths) for team members.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
  • Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced, international work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proven experience with calendar management and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions and levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrates a strong desire for professional growth and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and capable of solving problems independently.
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Adaptable and flexible in managing shifting priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and customer-focused with a creative mindset and strong sense of initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in document formatting and data analysis.
