Health, Safety and Environment Professional

We're seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment Professional to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental management systems at site level.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environment management systems.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing procedures to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Leading incident investigations and implementing processes to ensure incidents are reported and investigated thoroughly.
  • Supporting Return to Work Processes to ensure employees return to work safely and effectively.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with legal, company, and client requirements.
  • Driving sustainable improvement in safety performance through effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Work Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis competencies are desirable.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in Health and Safety, Environmental, Health, or a similar field.
  • A valid driver's license is essential.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating with key stakeholders is highly regarded.
  • Well-developed skills in coaching and influencing others to drive positive change.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk assessments and identifying opportunities for improvement.
