Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Operations Coordinator to join our QantasLink team at Sydney Domestic Terminal. As an Airport Operations Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aircraft movements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate the turnaround of all QantasLink aircraft in accordance with the Precision Timing Schedule.
  • Communicate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all operational requirements are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Identify the reason for any delays and report through accurate delay coding.
  • Allocate aircraft parking bays in conjunction with schedule requirements and bay constraints.
  • Provide aircraft traffic advice to Flight Crew and other stakeholders as required.
Requirements
  • Previous exposure to the network schedule and port information.
  • A comprehensive understanding of an airport's operational environment.
  • Knowledge of the Amadeus Reservations system.
  • Well-honed and matured communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and with tight time frames.
  • Ability to grasp relevant aircrew EBA's and CAO's.
  • The ability to plan and organise efficiently.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
