About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic candidate to join our team at the Coffs Harbour Airport. As a key member of our ground crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our airport services. While prior experience in aviation is highly desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Baggage and freight handling
  • Operation of a wide range of powered and non-powered airport equipment
  • Loading and offloading aircraft holds
  • Aircraft marshalling and dispatch
  • Operating aeronautical radio systems
  • Preparation of manifests, flight documentation, and freight manifests
  • Assisting passengers with special requirements to and from the aircraft
  • Aircraft cleaning
  • Maintaining accurate flight records.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Have a valid driver's licence and reliable transport to get to and from Coffs Harbour Airport.
  • Reliability, Punctuality and excellent time management.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Be physically fit (able to lift 32kgs)
  • Able to obtain an ASIC card (requires federal police background check)
  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Pass Drug and Alcohol tests.
