Automation Solutions Specialist

Role Overview:

Drive revenue growth in automation for mobile and fixed plant applications, with a strong focus on mining clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand automation sales in the specified markets.
  • Engage closely with existing customers to capitalize on established relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Focus primarily on mining clients to help improve their operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
  • Cultivate client relationships in defence, agriculture, power generation, and industrial manufacturing sectors.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and service team members to win full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the automation industry.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and lubrication systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel across Australia as required.
