Early Childhood Educator

Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to enrich the future of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

This role will provide opportunities for professional growth, collaboration with experienced educators, and making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports the cultural identity, safety, and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and community.
  • Support the inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, values and cultural knowledge in daily practice.
  • Deliver high-quality education and care in line with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and relevant legislation.
  • Work under the guidance of Diploma and Degree qualified educators to implement learning experiences that promote children's development.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Valid Employee Victorian Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis management).
  • Current Driver's Licence and National Police Check.
  • Completion of Protecting Children – Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations for the Early Childhood Sector training.
  • Completion of DoFoodSafely online training.
