Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and review transactions and activities for potential compliance issues, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required reports and documentation.
  • Provide compliance training and guidance to staff, fostering a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate compliance measures into daily operations.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board on compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a compliance role within a centralized and regulated cryptocurrency/banking exchange.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in the cryptocurrency/banking and financial services industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with regulatory bodies and compliance frameworks specific to the cryptocurrency/financial industry.
  • Understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist, Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional) is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
