The role of Lead Clinical Specialist in Inflammatory Bowel Disease is a key position within our Gastroenterology Team. As a clinical expert, you will provide high-level advice and support to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert clinical guidance and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals in partnership with other specialties and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop innovative Models of Care to facilitate contemporary care for complex patients and evaluate care management practices for patients and families.
  • Utilize current best evidence-based practices in the provision of care and contribute to the development and delivery of clinical specialty-related education programs within the specialty area of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
  • Provide clinical leadership, ongoing development of clinical practice, and utilize findings of research in the provision of clinical services, and participate in formal processes for the strategic and operational development of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease service.
