Job Opportunity

We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Electrical Design Specialist. As a key player in our success, you will be responsible for developing and designing electrical switchboards that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and design electrical switchboards according to client requirements and AS/NZS61439-2016 assembly standards.
  2. Generate standard drawings of switchboards using AutoCAD, including general arrangement, single line diagram, and bills of materials.
  3. Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support and ensure successful sales outcomes.
  4. Provide quotations for Hager 'off the shelf' products and value-add components to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Certifications in Electrical Design, Estimating, and Project Management (advantageous).
  • 5+ years of experience in estimating, design, and production of electrical switchboards.
  • Expertise in electrical design principles and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Streamgineer, and SAP.
