Expert Software Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled software engineer to join our innovative team, driving technology advancements and delivering cutting-edge solutions.

As a staff software engineer, you'll collaborate with top engineers and AI experts to leverage emerging technologies, improving the engineering experience and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
  2. Collaborate with teams to tackle complex technical problems, ensuring quality engineering outcomes.
  3. Develop robust and reusable solutions that integrate seamlessly into other teams' workflows and products.
  4. Support a customer-centric approach, aligning work with user needs and organisational goals.
  5. Participate in architectural discussions, proposing improvements and role-modeling standards and best practices.
  6. Actively participate in code reviews, maintain high-quality code bases, and assist in documentation for knowledge sharing.
  7. Work on cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment and addressing inter-dependencies.
  8. Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and squad members.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML applications and how they can enhance software engineering processes to improve productivity.
  • Experience building RAGs using LlamaIndex, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
  • Preferably have experience building Agentic AI systems using AutoGen, CrewAI, Pydantic, or similar frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript or C#) and experience developing microservices architecture on cloud platforms (AWS & Azure).
  • A keen interest in researching new AI tooling and being a daily user of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Continue, GitHub CoPilot, Aider, Cline, etc.
  • Knowledge of or experience in Anthropic Claude, Llama, LiteLLM, Cursor, windsurf / Codeium, VO Vercel, Continue, Aider, Cline, Langchain, Langgraph, Hugging Face will be highly desirable.
  • Strong technical leadership skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to solve business-critical problems.
  • Ability to provide technical direction to teams, reviewing designs and code to ensure best practices.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies and iterative experimentation from ideation to prototype to pilot to product.
