Leadership Role: Technical Expert

We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to join our senior leadership team and help drive the success of our Utilities business nationally.

This role will focus on leading and overseeing engineering management for water and wastewater projects, from design through to construction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the development of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance across design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Leading and mentoring engineering teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources, skills, and training to deliver on project objectives.
  • Identifying potential risks related to engineering and construction and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.

Flexibility is key in this role, with options available to work from our Sydney office or one of our other metropolitan offices, including Brisbane or Melbourne. Travel will be required as needed. We welcome applicants who can offer a range of flexible work options and hybrid working arrangements.
