Job Title: Education Support

We are seeking an Education Support staff member to join our team in a part-time capacity.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other education support staff and teachers to provide high-quality educational services to students.

This role will involve providing administrative and educational support to teachers and students, as well as contributing to the development of educational programs.

  • Education Support Class Level 0.8 (P-12 College)

About the Role:

The Education Support class position will perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction.

This may include coordination of other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.

The successful applicant will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist teachers in preparing learning materials and resources
  • To support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
  • To contribute to the development of educational programs and initiatives
  • To maintain accurate records and reports

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks
  • Demonstrated capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively in a team environment
  • Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide advice and support to management and other school staff
