About This Role

We are seeking passionate and skilled music educators to join our dynamic team. As a casual music instructor, you will inspire and nurture the musical talents of students at our esteemed institution.

  • ]
  • You will provide private lessons on various instruments/voice, developing personalized programs and arranging performance opportunities for students.]
  • In addition to private lessons, you will assist in classroom music programs, including year-level specific ensembles and orchestras.]
  • Lead instrumental groups, guiding students through developmental programs and preparing them for concerts.]
  • Collaborate with the Director and Deputy Director of Music to support student participation in our ensembles and choirs.]
  • Maintain instruments, supervise repairs as needed, and ensure they are in top condition for student use.]
  • Complete administrative tasks, including lesson attendance records, scholarship and exam entries, and parent communication.]

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • ]
  • A minimum AMusA qualification or a Music degree from a recognized institution.]
  • Expertise in providing music instruction across diverse styles and abilities.]
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills.]
  • Commitment to child safety and adherence to all relevant policies.]
  • A current Working With Children's Check is mandatory.]
  • Desirable criteria include knowledge of ensemble repertoire and instrument maintenance experience.]
